Any time Israel becomes involved in a war in the Middle East many people, including some non-Christians, want to know if it is in any way related to Bible prophecy. My answer is always "yes and no." "Yes," since just about any geo-political event involving Israel relates to Bible prophecy in some kind of stage-setting way. On the other hand, "no," since almost all end-time Bible prophecy relating to Israel will not start to be fulfilled until after the rapture, during the seven-year tribulation period. Every time something happens in the Middle East relating to Israel it certainly causes me to wonder even more, "Isn't the rapture about to take place?" ...
Robert Van Kampen was the inventor of the three-quarters rapture theory in the late 1970s. According to one who was there, he first eliminated pretribulationism and then excluded posttribulationism. Thus, he had to come up with another view. That view is what he called the "pre-wrath" rapture theory. That title is a misnomer, since pretribulationism is 100% pre-wrath...
Passage: Luke 19 & Daniel 9:24-27
A week before His resurrection on Easter Sunday, Jesus made, what is called, His triumphal entry into Jerusalem among much pomp and fanfare. While the people were happy and celebrating His entry into Jerusalem (Luke 19:35-40), Jesus was sad and wept over the city (Luke 19:41). At that point Jesus announced to the people, "If you had know in this day, even you, the things which make for peace" (Luke 19:42)! Our Lord prophetically described the judgment that would come upon Jerusalem and her people because of their rejection of Him (Luke 19:43-44a)...
It has been almost twenty years ago that Randall Price and I wrote a book titled Ready to Rebuild: The Imminent Plan to Rebuild the Last Days Temple. Dr. Price has gone on to become one of the leading, if not the leading expert within American Evangelicalism on the Temple movement. Dr. Price wrote his PhD dissertation on the Temple at the University of Texas and has produced a number of books on this topic, including a 750-page work.[3] So, are the Jews in Israel still “ready to rebuild” the third Temple as we noted in 1992? ...
Passage: Revelation 11:3-13
Usually when one deals with the two witnesses of Revelation 11:3–13, the discussion centers around the identity of the pair. Even though I believe they will be Moses and Elijah that will not be my focus. The emphasis of this article is whether the two witnesses will minister in the first or second half of the seven-year tribulation...
